Meet the Doctor

Dr. Mai Ferrara has been working in the field of orthodontics for over 20 years. She acquired her passion to become an orthodontist as a teen while working in multiple orthodontists’ offices. Her wide breadth of experience has been channeled into providing great care for her patients.

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Dr. Mai attended dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She graduated with highest honors at the top of her dental class, and was then accepted into one of the nation’s best orthodontic residency programs at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. In 2001 Dr. Mai received her master’s degree in the Specialty of Orthodontics from Baylor.

Dr. Mai is dedicated to providing excellent quality care for her patients. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, and she continually advances her skills through study clubs and professional organizations.

As a devoted mom, Dr. Mai balances life with private practice. She enjoys running along Town Lake, wine tasting, and traveling. She also enjoys gourmet cooking and spending quality time with her family.
